Adopt-A-Street Cleanup & Clean Sweep

Instead of holding our quarterly cleanup on the third Saturday in April, we will have it a couple weeks earlier in conjunction with Keep Austin Beautiful’s Clean Sweep! Clean Sweep is KAB's annual citywide cleanup that takes place all over Austin. GreenGirls will be cleaning up our adopted street (North Lamar Blvd. from Shoal Creek to 24th Street). Participants get a free event t-shirt, and the cleanup is followed by an awesome Volunteer Party and Environmental Fair at Waterloo Park which includes: free lunch, live music, kid’s environmental activities, green art, door prizes and more!

WHERE: Cleanup: Pease Park, 1100 Kingsbury Street (meeting place for cleanup supplies)

THINGS TO BRING:
. Your energy, enthusiasm, and fun-loving spirit
. Gloves that can be washed and reused (optional; thin plastic gloves will be provided)
. Water to drink (optional)
